    | 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. | 2. In a food processor, pulse flour, baking soda, baking powder, orange peel and sugar briefly to mix. | 3. Add butter and process until crumbly. | 4. Add pecans and pulse two three times, just long enough to chop and combine. | 5. Turn out into large bowl and stir buttermilk into mixture. | 6. Knead on floured surface, and pat flat into circle 1 inch thick. | 7. Cut into pie shaped pieces or cut with cookie cutter and place onto a ungreased cookie sheet. | 8. Brush with egg wash (one egg beaten lightly with fork). | 9. Bake 12 minutes, Serve with jelly or honey. | 10. Enjoy. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
