1970's French Strawberry Pie

    | 1. Spread cream cheese which has been softened with a little cream on bottom of pie shell. | 2. Place cut up strawberries on top of cream cheese. | 3. Place left over fresh strawberries in sauce pan and mash. | 4. Add sugar and cornstarch. | 5. Cook for 10 minutes on medium until really thick. | 6. Cool strawberry mixture. (Make sure its cooled). | 7. Pour over pie. | 8. Chill pie for 2 hours. | 9. Whip whipping cream (I add a couple tablespoons of sugar and some vanilla for extra flavor). | 10. Spread over top of cooled pie. | 11. EAT and ENJOY! | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
