    | 1. Heat Olive oil over medium high heat in sauce pan. | 2. Add minced shallot and garlic and sautee for 2 minutes. | 3. Pour juice from the tomato cans into the pan. | 4. Turn heat down to a simmer, cover, and let cook 30 minutes. | 8. Add wine and red pepper flakes to taste. Let simmer 20 minutes. | 9. Start pasta water with salt and oil. | 10. Add butter to large sauce pan and melt over medium heat. | 11. Add in proscuttio and sautee until lightly browned. | 12. Pour in vodka and let evaporate about 10 minutes. | 13.
