    | 1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter. | 2. Once the butter is almost melted, add the package of cream cheese. (Cut into 4 pieces to help it melt quicker). | 3. Once the butter and cream cheese are mixed together add the cup of half and half and parmesan cheese. | 4. Shake black pepper on top. | 5. Stir all ingredients together until well mixed. | 6. Take saucepan off of the burner and set aside until it thickens. | 7. Stir frequently. | 8. Pour over your favorite pasta. | 9.
