    | 1. Preheat oven to 175 C. | 2. Grease and flour a 24-25 cm round cake tin. | 3. Start with the filling: stir all the filling ingredients togehter in a small bowl. | 4. For the cake batter: Cream butter and sugar. | 5. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. | 6. Add vanilla, stir to combine. | 7. In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder. | 8. Add the flour mixture into the butter& egg mixture, stir to combine. | 9. Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared pan. | 10. Sprinkle on the filling. | 11. Top with the rest of the batter. | 12.
