    | 1. Brown chicken in half the oil. Heat the rest of oil in a large pot, and add tomatoes, mashing them. Add onions, hot pepper powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook 15 minutes, then add chicken. Thin peanut paste slightly with about 1 cup/250 cc of water, and add to chicken, mixing well. Add more hot pepper to taste. Cook, covered, over medium heat for 20 minutes or until chicken is done.
