    | 1. Place 300ml cold water, the sugar, saffron, cinnamon stick and honey in a large pan, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Bring to the boil gently and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the syrup has reduced slightly. | 2. Add the figs and simmer for a further 5 minutes or until tender. Remove from the heat and discard the cinnamon stick. | 3. Serve the figs warm with the yogurt and drizzled with the saffron syrup. | 4.
