    | 1. Cut chicken in about 1-inch chunks. | 2. Stir in soy sauce, sugar, ginger, pepper, garlic and half of the green onions. | 5. Mix in the chicken and marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes. | 6. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. | 7. Arrange chicken with marinade in a single layer in a 7" x 5" baking pan. | 8. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden and cooked through. | 9. Serve over steamed or fried rice. | 10.
