Crispy Rice for Sizzling Rice Soup

    | 1. Combine rice and water in a large pot. | 2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover. | 3. Simmer for 30 minutes. | 4. Remove from heat and allow to cool. | 5. Preheat oven to 300°F. | 6. Spread the rice over an ungreased baking sheet, no more than 1/4 inch thick. | 7. Bake rice for 50-55 minutes until dry. | 8. Cool rice and cut into 2" squares. | 9.
