    | 1. Mix together the vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, bay leaves, and peppercorns. | 2. Add pork ribs and toss to coat. | 3. Marinate overnight in refrigerator, turning at least once. | 4. Dain marinade into a large straight-sided skillet or 2 smaller skillets. | 5. Bring to a boil and add ribs. | 6. Cover and simmer for 1 hour, turning ribs over half way through. | 7. Add coconut milk and simmer 20 minutes longer, uncovered. | 8. Remove ribs and turn heat to high. | 9. Boil the sauce and reduce to about 1 cup. | 10. Strain and set aside. | 11.
