    | 1. Bring milk to a boil. | 2. Keep stirring till reduced to half the qty. | 3. Cool. | 4. Add flour. | 5. Blend well to obtain batter of pouring consistency. | 6. Add more milk, if needed. | 7. Boil sugar and water together till the syrup reaches one thread consistency. | 8. Add saffron. | 9. Keep aside. | 10. Grind the mawa, cashews, sugar, cardamom powder and rose water into a paste. | 11. Heat ghee in a flat frying pan. | 12. Pour a tbsp of the batter in the pan. | 13. Fry till done. | 14. Remove from ghee. | 15. Similarly make more puas. | 16. Dip these in the sugar syrup for a minute. | 17. Put a tsp of the khoya, roll up to form a packet and place on platter. | 18.
