    | 1. Boil spinach and let drain. | 2. Boil potatoes until soft. | 3. Peel potatoes. | 4. Mash potatoes, mixing in softened butter, 1/2 cup milk, salt and pepper. | 5. Add some salt to drained spinach. | 6. Arrange spinach and mash in layers in a staight-sided baking dish, starting with spinach and mash on top. | 7. Mix rest of milk and egg, and pour milk mixture over the layers. | 8. Sprinkle grated cheese on top. | 9. Bake at 150 C for half an hour. | 10. Brown top under grill for 3 minutes. | 11.
