    | 1. Heat the oil in a heavy based saucepan, and cook the onion and garlic over medium heat until the onion is tender. | 2. Stir in the spices and cook for 1 minute or until aroma is released. | 3. Add the lamb and brown well, stirring constantly. | 4. Stir in the tomatoes, stock and juice. | 5. Bring to the boil, stirring, then reduce the heat and cook for 1 hour or until the lamb is tender. | 6. Add the chickpeas and cook for a further 15 minutes. | 7.
