    | 1. Line a pie dish with one sheet of pastry. | 2. Separate eggs, whites in one bowl, yolks in another. | 3. Beat whites until you have stiff peaks. | 4. Beat yolks, and gently fold into whites. | 5. Scatter half of the bacon on the bottom sheet of pastry. | 6. Gently add eggs to pie. | 7. Scatter remaining bacon in pie, being careful not to flatten the egg mixture too much. | 8. Sprinkle with pepper. | 9. Place other sheet of pastry on top, and fold & press edges to seal pie. | 10. Pierce top layer of pastry with a sharp knife. | 11. Brush with milk. | 12. Bake at 200°C for 30 minutes, or until pastry is golden and flaky. | 13.
