    | 1. Cream the butter and sugar in a standing mixer. | 2. Slowly add flour, then salt. | 3. Fold in pecan pieces. | 4. Roll dough into ball shape, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for 30 minutes. | 5. On floured surface, roll dough out to 1/4-inch thickness. | 6. Cut into desired shapes (squares and triangles are my favorite, but a round cookie cutter can be used). | 7. Transfer cut out dough to ungreased cookie sheet. | 8. Prick with fork and chill again for 20 minutes. | 9. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. | 10.
