    | 1. Heat oil in a large pot on medium high heat. Brown the beef cubes on all sides and season with salt. | 2. Add the onion, garlic, and parsley to the beef and sauté until onions turn translucent. | 3. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook till they release some juice for a minute or two. | 4. Add the cloves and cinnamon and stir. | 5. Add the two cans of tomato sauce. | 6. Then take one of the emptied cans and fill it with water. Add two can-fulls of water. | 7. Taste and season if necessary. | 8. Bring to a boil and then reduce to low heat and cover. Let it simmer for 2 and a half hours or until meat is tender and sauce has thickened. | 9.
