    | 1. Beat eggs lightly in a deep mixing bowl. | 2. Remove crust form bread and discard, soak bread in cold water and squeeze dry. | 3. Shallow fry in hot oil until nicely browned (6 minutes each side). | 9. Lift out and drain. | 10.
