    | 1. Combine beef, onions, celery, carrots in a 2 1/2 qt. | 2. casserole. | 3. Combine tomato juice, tapioca, sugar, salt, pepper and basil. | 4. Pour over meat and vegetables. | 5. Cover and bake at 300F about 2 1/2 hrs. | 6. Add potatoes and cook 1 hour longer. | 7. Stir occasionally. | 8. Serves 6. | 9.
