    | 1. In large heavy bottomed pan, heat oil and saute garlic until golden (1 minute or so). | 2. If using meat, add to pot and cook until brown. | 3. Add all remaining ingredients, stirring thoroughly. | 4. Bring to boil; turn down to simmer and cook 30 minutes. | 5. Taste and adjust seasonings to your preference. | 6. NOTE: I've also used Penzey's Pasta Sprinkle instead of the basil, oregano and onion powder.
