    | 1. Take 2 cups of flour and thoroughly mix in sugar, yeast, and salt. | 2. Mix separately water, vanilla and eggs. Pour into flour mixture a bit at a time. | 3. Stir in raisins. | 4. Drop heaping tablespoons into 2 1/2 - 3 inches o oil. Cook until they have a light brown color to them. | 6. Remove from oil and dip or sprinkle in icing sugar, and lay on paper-towel covered cookie sheets. Serve immediately! | 7.
