    | 1. Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and raisins. | 2. Next, make a well in the center of the flour mixture for the egg. | 3. Crack the egg into the well in the flour mixture. | 4. Add the milk a little at a time, making sure to keep batter thick. | 5. Grease and flour a nine-inch round pan. | 6. Spread batter into the pan.
