    | 1. Heat milk to scalding and cool to lukewarm. | 2. Soften yeast in milk, add sugar and half the flour to make a sponge. | 3. Beat well. | 4. Knead together until smooth and elastic. | 10. Cover and let rise until double in bulk, about 1 1/2 hours. | 11. Turn onto lightly floured board and shape into buns. | 12. Place on greased baking sheet about one inch apart; let rise until light. | 13. While buns are rising, preheat oven to 375°F. | 14.
