    | 1. Heat the oil in a medium frying pan(use enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan) on medium heat. | 2. Slowly cook the chopped onions until soft. | 3. Add the rice and coat it with the oil and onions. | 4. Mix the chicken OXO in 2 cups of hot water and slowly add to the rice. | 5. Add tomatoe paste, basil, oregano, minced garlic and chopped tomatoes. | 6. Reduce the heat to simmer and reduce the liquid by half. | 7. Add the chopped green, red and yellow peppers (or Salsa). | 8. Cover with lid and simmer for 20-25 minutes. | 9. Once cooked the rice should be a bit wet. | 10. Enjoy! | 11.
