    | 1. Cook noodles as directed on package. | 2. Line the bottom of a 9x13-inch pan with the noodles. | 3. In medium sized bowl mix cottage cheese, egg and 1/2 tsp of onion salt together. | 4. Spread of noodles. | 5. cover with another layer of noodles. | 6. Now mix cheddar cheese with potato, salt, 1/2 tsp of onion salt and pepper. | 7. Spread this over noodles. | 8. Cover with yet another layer of noodles. | 9. Melt butter in frying pan and sauté onion slowly until clear and soft. | 10. Pour over noodles and cover. | 11. Bake 30 minutes in 350° oven. | 12. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. | 13. Serve with sour cream and grated cheddar. | 14. Yummy. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
