    | 1. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, mustard and salt. | 2. Stir in 1 cup cheese, green onion and basil. | 3. Pour in beer, stir just until blended and no dry spots remain. | 4. Spoon batter into greased 9 x 5 loaf pan. | 5. Lightly dredge onion rings in some flour. | 6. Place very thin onion rings barely overlapping on top of batter. | 7. Sprinkle seeds on top of batter. | 8. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. | 9. Bake for 50-60 minutes . | 10. While loaf is hot out of the oven, sprinkle remaining cheese over top. | 11. Let stand in pan to cool 15 minutes. | 12. Remove from pan to rack to finish cooling. | 13.
