    | 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). | 2. In a large mixing bowl combine sweet potatoes, milk, sugar, corn syrup, eggs, butter or margarine, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Blend with mixer or hand-held beaters until smooth. Pour mixture into pie shell. | 3. Place in preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for an additional 35 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
