    | 1. Sauté the onion, chillies, ginger and garlic in a little oil till the onion is soft. | 2. Remove from the heat and cool. | 3. Add the mince and seasonings and mix. | 4. Shape the mixture into fairly small meatballs. | 5. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the meatballs till brown on the outside about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the pan. | 6. For the sauce sauté the chopped onion in a little heated oil until soft about 5 minutes add the cardamom seeds and stick cinnamon and stir fry for about 1 minute. | 7. Add the chopped tomatoes and simmer gently. | 8. Add the meatballs a simmer till done, about 5 minutes. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
