    | 1. Cut the beef into very thin slices. | 2. In a bowl, mix together the egg, garlic, salt, ginger, soy sauce, and wine; marinate beef in mixture for 20-30 minutes at room temperature. | 3. Add oil to marinade, mix thoroughly, and marinate for another 30 minutes. | 4. Mix the first 2 tsp of cornstarch with the five-spice powder, and add the meat to this mixture. | 5. Cut the broccoli into small sprigs. | 6. Mix the remaining cornstarch into the water and soy sauce. | 7. Heat the oil& the sesame oil in a frying pan and saute the beef for about two minutes. | 8. Add the broccoli and cook for five minutes, stirring constantly. | 9. Add the cornstarch mixture to the pan, mix well and cook until thick. | 10.
