    | 1. Mix all the ingredients for khandwiyan and cook in a sauce pan till the mixture gets very thick. | 2. Oil a flat dish and spread the mixture evenly. Let it cool and then cut into cubes or diamonds. | 3. To make gravy, heat the oil and add mustard seeds and fry. | 4. Add chopped onions and fry till they get light pink in color. | 5. Add green chillies,garam masala,coriander powder,turmeric and red chilli powder with a lil water and cook a lil till the oil comes on the surface. Then add two cups of water. | 6. In a frying pan shallow fry the already made khandwiyan and add directly to the gravy. Let everything cook for 5 mins on low heat.
