    | 1. Firstly, prepare the rice paste in a mixie by grinding together 150gms rice and 150 gms. | 2. water. | 3. Keep aside. | 4. Bring milk to a boil. | 5. Add powdered green cardamom and stir well. | 6. Add rice paste, sugar and saffron that has been dissolved in water. | 7. Stir well. | 8. Cook till the sugar is dissolved and the rice is cooked. | 9. Pass through a sieve into another bowl. | 10. Mix well and cool. | 11. Keep aside. | 12. Put the chopped strawberries in a bowl (traditionally, in India, earthen"sakoras" are used). | 13. Pour the above prepared phirni over these. | 14. Chill the phirni in order to allow it to set. | 15. Chop a strawberry in the shape of a fan and garnish the chilled and set phirni with this. | 16.
