    | 1. In 2-quart saucepan cook onion and curry powder in water till onion is tender. | 2. Stir in milk, coconut, cloves, and salt. | 3. Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes. | 4. Strain mixture through a sieve. | 5. Stir about 1 cup of the hot milk mixture into the egg yolks. | 6. Return to remaining milk mixture in saucepan. | 7. Cook and stir about 2 minutes or till mixture thickens slightly. | 8. Remove from heat; cover and chill. | 9.
