    | 1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat for 1 minute. Add the rice and cook until it is opaque, about 2 minutes, stirring often. | 2. In a separate bowl, add the salt to the cola. Stir until dissolved. The cola will fizz up releasing some of the carbonation. Then add the cola to the rice. | 3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low, cooking until the liquid has almost completely evaporated, about 15 minutes. | 4. Add the raisins and almonds over the top of the rice and reduce the heat to the lowest setting. Cover and cook until the rice is tender, about 10 more minutes.
