    | 1. Preheat oven to 350 Degrees. | 2. Combine salt, pepper, paprika and oregano in small bowl. | 3. Rub spice mixture over meat. | 4. Heat oil in ovenproof pot with a tight-fitting lid, over medium-high heat. | 5. Brown brisket on both sides. | 6. Transfer brisket to a platter and pour off fat from pot. | 7. Add stock, tomatoes and bay leaves to pot and scrape the brown bits off the bottom of the pot. | 8. Return brisket and juices to the pot and scatter onions and garlic over meat. | 9. Cover pot, transfer to oven and braise for 1 hour. | 10. Uncover pot and continue to braise for another hour. | 11. Push some of the onions and garlic into braising liquid surrounding brisket. | 12. Cook another 2 hours. | 13. Meat is done when the meat is extremely tender. | 14. Spoon onions, tomatoes and juices on top when serving. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
