    | 1. Preheat oven to 400. | 2. In a skillet, lightly brown the Rice A Roni in the butter (keep flavor pack aside). | 3. Add and brown the ground beef, crumble finely. | 4. Stir in hot water. | 5. Add contents of the beef flavored packet that came with Rice A Roni. | 6. Add salt & pepper and mix. | 7. Cover and simmer for 15min on low. | 8. Cool slightly. | 9. Stir in 2 well beaten eggs. | 10. Fill pie shell with mixture. | 11. Top with bacon slices. | 12. Bake for 20 minutes. | 13. note: the bacon cooking on top of the pie is used to add flavor, but does not get crisp.
